Panda Bears
Wild pandas lives only in remote, mountainous regions in central China. Their characteristic color is black and white. The panda bear is a skilled tree-climber and excellent swimmer.
Their diet is based on bamboo, and they can eat 28 pound per day, and sometimes eat birds or rodents.
Females give birth to a cub or two. They are born white, and develop their beautiful color later.
Panda bears are solitary.
There are about 1,000 giant pandas left in the wild. around 100 pandas live in zoos.
